Postal Codes of Colombia

Adopted in 2009, the current Postal Code system in the country of Colombia uses a 6 digit numeric code. The first two digits of the postal code represent is a unique identifier for each department. The department is the top level adminstrative division in Colombia. The second pair of digits will be 00 for department capitals.
